Prize wheel FAQ

Everything people ask us about promotional prize wheels: sizes, branding, segments, hire, purchase, set-up and shipping.

Models and sizes

What sizes of wheel do you have?

A 120 cm floor-standing wheel (about 120 × 190 × 60 cm, graphic about 110 cm across), a 180 cm giant wheel (about 180 × 220 × 60 cm) and tabletop wheels of about 38, 45 and 60 cm, plus a small tripod wheel about 60 cm across. For purchase, other diameters to order too.

How much space does the wheel need on a stand?

The 120 cm wheel takes up about 120 × 60 cm of floor space and the 180 cm wheel about 180 × 60 cm. Also leave room in front for the player and the queue.

Does it fit in a lift?

The 120 cm wheel fits in standard lifts. The 180 cm wheel needs a goods lift or street-level access with no stairs or narrow corridors, as it is 220 cm long.

What is it made of? Can it be used outdoors?

The graphic is rigid PVC printed in full colour; the 120 cm wheel sits on a black stand and the 180 cm wheel on a metal base. We have set them up at outdoor fairs, in gardens and on terraces: if your event is outdoors, let us know and we will advise you.

Branding and segments

How is the wheel branded?

We print your design in full colour on a rigid PVC graphic that is fitted onto the disc: your logo, your colours and your prizes.

What file do I need to send?

A full-size PDF on the template we give you, with the size of the graphic and the centre marked. At least two weeks before the event.

Do you do the design?

Yes, if you have none. Send us your logo and list of prizes and our team prepares it. We show it to you before printing.

Can the design be in English?

Of course. The graphic carries whatever text you want, in English, Spanish or any other language.

How many segments can it have?

As many as you like: 8, 10, 12, 14, 20… The number of segments does not change the price.

Can you control the odds of each prize?

You control it through the design, not by rigging the wheel: if you repeat a prize on several segments, it will come up more often. That is how you decide how many gifts of each kind to hand out.

Hire, purchase and cost

Can I buy the wheel or only hire it?

Both. We hire out floor-standing wheels for specific events and make floor-standing and tabletop wheels to measure for anyone who wants to own one.

How much does a custom prize wheel cost?

It depends on the model and size, whether you hire or buy, the days, the number of units, the city and the set-up times. We send you a fixed, no-obligation quote.

How long do production and shipping take?

Tabletop wheels are made in a few days plus shipping. For floor-standing wheels, we confirm the lead time and warranty in your quote.

How long can I hire a wheel for?

By the day, week or month. For multi-day shows or long campaigns we quote a price for the whole period.

Logistics

Do you deliver across Spain, including trade shows in Barcelona and Madrid? Do you set it up?

Yes, all over Spain, and we work at Fira de Barcelona and IFEMA very often. For hire, we bring it, set it up and collect it, quoted according to the city. If you buy, we ship it and explain how to set it up.

Can you send someone to run the wheel?

The hire does not include staff, but we can suggest a promo host or an entertainer from United Events.

Do I need terms and conditions to run a prize draw with a wheel?

It depends on how you set up the promotion. For a draw open to the public in Spain, simple terms are advisable; check with your adviser. We take care of the wheel.
